It does the job, however, it overcooks the rice as opposed to other rice cookers. (especially the ones that look like Electric Pressure cookers). Quality is good.

It's nice quick and easy but u have to unplug it to turn it off and the rice is always very dry

It works, but always seems to Brown the rice on the bottom of the bowl, maybe there is a trick I haven’t found yet. Good enough for its intended purpose on this planet

It works as intended. It does not have any features. It’s simple, but works ok. If you cook rice often, I would recommend something else.

I haven't used this pot as yet. but I do have a smaller pot by this brand and have used it for several years now. I expect the same performance with this one.

It's okay. Not as fool proof as I hoped. Bubbles over and makes a mess. Probably operator error, but minute rice boil-in-a-bag is easier.

It’s complicating, how to use it, the cup doesn’t have the right measurement for the cup amount

The cook lever does not stay engaged. I have tried positioning the metal bowl, trying other outlets, etc. We have to stick a metal fork in the lever to engage the cook and watch by the minute to stop the cook. My assumption is because the magnet in the lever that engages the cook cycle has become weak. The unit broke at 10 months and I reached out on 12 months and 1 day (I was moving and was unable to dedicate time on the warranty). Insignia states they will make an exception, so I will see what the outcome is in 3 days. Overall, I do not recommend, especially if you eat rice daily. This machine WILL fail due to the magnets used. The heat wears the magnet down overtime, and I believe it’s a neodymium magnet which has irrecoverable properties when heated past it’s curie point.

I can still never make Perfect rice yet almost got it though. The measuring cup that came with it is not a 1 cup so it makes it kinda of confusing to get the exact amount.

Sometimes the rice is not well cooked. It didn't find a balance between water and rice.

Cheap materials. Didn’t even last three months of regular use.

Got this small cooker for 2 to 3 people, easy to store and clean.

Lil on the smaller size. Heats ok does not make rice super hot. Soso

Be careful to determine the size you need before you buy a rice cooker. This was WAY too large for hubby and me.
