Rice came out horrible. I rinsed rice before use and it still came out a sticky mess.

First use very disappointed, spewed all over my counter and everything there. I thought I would just try cooking 1 cup of rice just to try it out. Thinking maybe its not good for just a single cup of rice, will give it another try; before changing review up or down.

Good Product and only negative is no automatic timer.

Good for small cooking ...fast and it dose the job

It worked fine the first few uses but the lever to start was flimsy and had to be pressed down several times to stay down. Then after first few uses, the lever wouldn't stay down. I had to place heavy ibject to hold it down. Before that batch of rice was cooked, all lights went out and it quit working completely. I returned it to store.

Had to return it. Glass lid is fragile unlike others and broke

We did not use this pot very much but when we did it made a good pot of rice. Now after only 7 months it burned up while cooking a pot of rice. Do not know if I will try another one or not.

I still not sure about this cooker a friend told me about it. Im still not convinced about it yet. ive tried white & brown rice they both come out sticky. so the water amount is off.

I was hoping this would meet my cooking needs, but it is awful. I was only using 2 cups of rice, and the correct amount of water. It bubbled up and over the rim and the vent hole spit scalding water and steam all over the counter and into the air. So dangerous. There is no temp control, so the only option was to unplug it. Worthless at any price. This was a Best Buy deal of the day. Don’t buy it.

It does cook brown rice but it will automatically switch to the warm mode before the rice is fully cooked. The warm mode does not keep the cooked rice very warm. I probably would not recommend this product.

Absolutely one of the worse things I have ever purchased. I cant remember ever writing a bad review on anything I have purchased at Best Buy. Going to try using it one more time but first time was a disaster. The vent on the top of the rice cooker vents all the hot air out ALONG WITH moisture which ended up all over my counter top. had to completely clean everything around where I used it.

Rice cooker Lid won’t fit. Would not recommend.

I got it for $10! No brainee right? It stopped working after a week. I took it back to best buy and they got me a new one. And guess what! Again it broke after a week Insignia does not know how to do rice cookers

I'm very disappointed with this purchase. The rice cooker is very basic. I followed the directions of washing the rice and precisely measured the rice and the water. However, liquid boiled up and out from the edge of the lid. It also splattered out of the vent hole in the lid. This happened when I made only the minimum quantity of 2 cups of rice.

I purchased this rice cooker but never used it because the lid would not fit. I couldn’t return it because it was a final sale. Lesson learned: buying at a lower cost carries a greater risk of wasting money.

I purchased this rice cooker early to replace my rice cooker once it went bad. This rice cooker is horrible. Not only did it spill on my counter, but spilled all the way to the floor. The rice cooker didn’t even cook the rice all the way. I would not recommend this rice cooker.

If you cook more than a cup of rice in this thing, it's going to burble water all over the place, so I'd put it in a pan. But the 5th time I went to use it, the switch wouldn't catch and actually stick on COOK. Tossed it. You get what you pay for.

The cook button pops up to warm and doesnt fully cook.

Even through I purchased this in December, I just took it out of the box and turned it on and guess what it doesn’t even work and it’s probably too late to return it, very disappointed! Will not turn on at all the other one went to a friend I hope it worked for her unfortunately mine did not.

dont buy if you hate to see non stick peeling off after couple of uses .
