This has made transferring date from older HDD SATA drives and even a smaller SSD drive an absolute breeze! Easy set up, and right out of the gate an amazing purchase!

Was recommended by the sales guy to use for retrieving data from my crashed HDD. Actually Win10 was the issue and just would not load. I had not made a recovery disk and tried everything to restore and recover the data,...restore point, repair options but nothing. I hadn't created a backup disk either, my lack of foresight but the PC wasn't that old. The thing just died in an instant. But I was using that PC for my own business stuff and the data was my concern. I went in to BB to purchase another computer and the sales guy told me about this device to retrieve that data. I had doubts but WOW! I was able to get all my data off the old drive with ease. Really saved me a ton of trouble.

My new PC case didnt have room for my 3.5" bays with the power supply I got. Use this as an external for my storage hdd, it worked great and never had any issues with data transfers.

Extremely handy in working with hard drives for a NAS system or anything like that without the need to open a case and install the drive. It also supports 2.5" drives but I mainly purchased for 3.5"

Over the years, if you're into music, e-books, and videos as much as me, you're going to accumulate a LOT of data. Over time, you might even run out of room for it and buy a larger hard drive. You might also need a way to easily transfer data from an old internal drive to a new one. You might also need to see if an external hard drive's interface failed and the data is still on the drive. This beautiful little unit allows you to do all of that quickly, reliably and simply. Highly recommended for its plug and play features and the dual ports!

Always works for 3” or 2.5” HDD or ssd. Works on both Mac and windows

Needed to clone my hard drive and this worked out great. Plug and play so there is no software you have to use to set it up. Will work with SSD and regular Hard Drives.

I got this station to transfer data from old hard drives into my new computer. I was not disappointed, it allowed for a quick transfer and acts as a external drive set up when i need it

I bought this because I had 2 Hard drives a 5TB drive and a 8TB drive and it reads and rights to them great I use it as an external drive and I'm satisfied.

I like how it reads both sizes of Sata drives. Works well

My laptop's HDD had a problem. I used this docking station to recover my data. Comes with usb cables and power supply. plug and play, no need for any installation.

Works well for what it is, I had no issues accessing multiple generations of old mech drives. Straight forward no frills docking station, will not work with the old WD Raptors with the giant heat sinks without removing the heat sink (the SATA connection is centered instead of offset), but once removed had no issues.

It works right out of the box. Dropped in 2 drives. A 120 GB solid state and a 500 GB HDD. No problems

Need hard drive reader? This maybe the way to go. I pulled my old Mac hard drive out and my old desktop hard drive out so I can recycle the computer but still have access to the information. This was a good choice and it’s small enough to fit on desk without being in the way

Would have gave it a perfect review except I felt it should have came with software to clone or copy drive. Seeing as that is what it is made for a trial or something would have been nice. The software I needed to finish the job cost the same if not more then the equipment. At that point the cheaper sata to usb cable style adapter does the something as what this does for half the price would have gone that route but in a pinch like I was in it did the job as described they just need to be more descriptive it is strictly hardware.

This product worked perfectly. I had a client whose hard drive had crashed. I used this adapter to eventually get the data off the crashed hard drive. It took some time, but it saved me from having to send the drive to data-saving company. Well worth the money.

I had an old computer that I was replacing that had two hard drives that I wanted to use with the new one. This works very well. It was easy to set up and use.

This docking station was relatively easy to use. It allows you to transfer data from 2 separate hard drives. I was able to use it with both my laptop hard drive and desktop.

It works perfectly! You can even boot computers off of drives you have installed in it. I use it for my dead laptop’s hard drive. It’s fast, reliable, and easy to use!
