Very happy with this docking station. It works with any USB ported computer of the PC type running SATA ports. Don't know about others.

It works as advertised. I've docked four different drives, both large disc types and small SSDs, and it works flawlessly.

I was skeptical about this brand and product. I am completely overjoyed that it woks great with my tablet. No issues!

Nice Offer,really guys,so here goes,i bought It,the First one,for the W.D. Hardrive i bought at your Cape Girardeau Store,was lead to beleive it was a External H.D.,IT wasn't.was going to return it,and go to Wal-Mart,and get one(External Hardrive),but i saw this item,Ended up buying it,worked great,so just a few days later,Ibought another one,going to buy two 8 TB's,or maybe 2 10,T.B.'s.Because your Store doesn't have any Seagate Hard Drives,i'm looking to go to Wal-Mart,maybe for that item.Got a Lot to do,between now,and mid March,So glad you had this Item,in your Store.Who knows,i do like Western Digital,i might just buy them at your Cape Girardeau Missouri,Store.

I bought this as an emergency purchase when a supposedly good and more portable one failed. While it is bulky if you already have a lot on your desk, it gets the job done, lines up the drives and is instantly discovered by the PC with no issues. The lights next to the eject buttons let you know when it's safe to remove a drive without causing damage to it. On the back there's even a USB slot to plug in a USB drive. All drives show up as additional letters in your File Explorer with no need for annoying 3rd party software.

After my the motherboard in my PC died and my backup was not showing up as readable, I was desperately seeking a way to recover my files without having to pay in excess of $800 to someone to do it. Man was I shocked to get a hold of this! I listed to a You Tube video on how to remove my hard drive from the computer. After connecting my computer hard drive into the slot and then to my new computer, I was able to retrieve my files with this. I am not a tech person but I was able to read the instructions and it took about 2-2 1/2 hours to retrieve the files. One thing I did notice was that it got rather warm but I have a small desk fan that I use to stay cool so I used it while the files were being transferred and I had no issue. Best $50 I ever spent.

Being able to access HDDs and your SDDs to check what you have in the storage without having to open your PC up evertime saves a lot of time and saves a lot of headaches.

If you want a cheap, fast USB3 docking station for fast transfers to or from cold storage, this is your toaster. First of all, it is indeed fast if you use fast drives on fast USB. I get a full 400-500 GBs over USB3 5Gb ports with my spare Samsung EVO850s popped in the slots. If you're not getting those speeds your USB port is the bottleneck, not the device. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. If you unmount the drives with the "remove drive" function, Windows does not unmount the drive, it unmounts that SLOT. You will not be able to re-use that slot unless you reboot your computer. So you won't be using more than two drives between boots. And this is a "Toaster". If you leave hard disk drives in it for any length of time, they will get ungodly hot, which is not good for your drive. Do what you need to do, then turn it off. It is still an incredible value for the money, and a highly useful tool for handling cold-storage files. I would definitely buy again.

I've been using the Sabrent USB 3.0 to SATA External Hard Drive Docking Station for about two weeks now, and I'm generally pleased with its performance. I replaced my old SSK dock with this one after it failed within a year, and so far, this Sabrent dock has been a more reliable choice. The speeds on this dock are definitely an improvement over my old one. I've connected my Synology Disk Station to the dock via USB, and I've achieved transfer speeds of up to 120 MBps. Response times are also snappy, making it easy to transfer files and data.

I had to have a disk recovered from an old all in one computer that gave up the ghost. The technicians were prompt, professional and personable--more to the point they were able to recover not only the data but I left with the original drive and purchased a docking station for the drive to use as a device on my new all in one. It works very well, is easy to configure and use and gives me an additional 500GB of storage. This saved my picture gallery with 20 years worth of photos. Although they were backed up-it was in so many places that it would have taken days to piece back together. Good job by the Squad and a great suggestion on the docking station!

This docking station was easy to use. We had a desktop computer that died and the hard drive fit perfectly in it.

Works well and easy to use, Fairly fast, as fast as can be expected for an external USB3 drive. Fairly Fast transfers between external and PC.

Works as intended great little device. I would recommend this to anyone needing to transfer data between drives or devices.

Nice way to power up my external hard drives. I usually keep two 3" drives in this and ready to use. You can easily swap drives as need though. Very convenient.

Not a fan of the design but the product does works as advertised. Like others have said, i have concerns about it breaking due to the way the hard drives sit vertically into this reader. They do not sit in the reader very snug so if you were to bump the hard drive a little too hard, i can see the connection between the reader and drive breaking. That said, if this is something that is just going to sit on your desk in an area that is safe and not be moved, it will work fine for you.

Faced with an unbootable hard drive, I purchased this to copy files from the old drive to a new one using another computer. This device was easily recognized by Windows and transferring the files was quick and painless. Highly recommended.
