Seems to be reliable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as a replacement to a Thermaltake Duet external dock which failed after only a little over a years worth of moderate use. This dock features a USB 3.0 interface, includes a USB 3.0 connection cable and power supply. I've used the dock for several months now and I'm happy to report that it works well. I feel that it is a better value then the Thermaltake dock solely based on cost.

I appreciate their help and I truly am glad I purchased this docking station. It was very easy to use and without it I would still be trying to retrieve my files. What a Life Saver....Thanks BEST BUY.

good way to check hard drives

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you have a computer with viruses and can't easily update the antivirus program you can easily remove the drive from original computer and plug it in this devise and plug it into a second computer which is up to date on antivirus and antispyware programs. Then you can scan and remove viral infections and save your important files to this backup computer.

Decent design and price but reliability a worry

One of the drives I plugged in was simply not drawing enough power and wouldn’t spin up. The standing design is cool but I worry about long term durability as there is too much play in the movement of the drives while plugged in

Handy gadget!

I was able to connect to the drives and move files with no problem, the two drive bays both connected quickly and made my emergency file saving/accessing easy. A real life saver!
