I'm using this with a new 3TB HDD

The design allows for great air flow and minimum desk space.

Good Standby

I do like what this gadget offers and the cost is not so bad. If you have one, it's there IF you need it.

Things To Consider

I did not have third party software just M.S. disk management. I had 2 spindle total 1 and 3/4 TB'S that occupied the storage unit they were loud sitting next to you while working. I always thought that the power connector was a bit flimsy and sure enough it failed recently the connector is no longer working. When I replace it I will look for either a quieter unit or go with a solid state drive for quietness. Well off I go to check the warranty.
