This device works well with large and small drives. Updated and very fast. Faster to take drive from external enclosure and use in the docking station. I use this for backup drives that are stored in a safe.

I’ve built several computers and have hard drives around that occasionally I’ve had to go back and pull forgotten data from. This makes it very simple. It does feel rather flimsily constructed but I suppose if you don’t get too aggressive with it it should hold up fine.

This setup saved me some money and allowed me to put an old drive back to work.

I'm upgrading this from one I bought off ebay that failed after only 3 months. So far, so good with this one. But if anyone is wondering, this does NOT have a cloning feature.
