Easy to use, excellent drive reader. no problems whatsoever

It worked perfect for pulling programs off of old harddrives.

Not a fan of the design but the product does works as advertised. Like others have said, i have concerns about it breaking due to the way the hard drives sit vertically into this reader. They do not sit in the reader very snug so if you were to bump the hard drive a little too hard, i can see the connection between the reader and drive breaking. That said, if this is something that is just going to sit on your desk in an area that is safe and not be moved, it will work fine for you.

Wow this insignia docker is cool. I had about 10 Sata old hard drives lying around. I reformatted them all checked for errors now I have extra hard drives to use. When your hard drive in your computer goes bad you can always take it out and put it in this dock and get back all your files. Nice product and its easy to use. You can use this to tranfer data from diiffrent devices. This is always good to have.

The dock does what ot needs to do. I may actually buy more drives to use as client specific daya storage units. Whats more secure than a drive thats easily removed from the hardware? Yeah, maybe its a bit slower to use like that, and not as readily available, but when you're storing specific corporate identity data, I'd rather be secure than sorry.

I used this to desperately recover lost data on a NAS I built for one of my family members when the server needed to be updated and my goofy self forgot to disconnect the drive to prevent it from being formatted into the void this pared with some good software will save your butt if you are like me and sometime forget to put your coffee in the mug

This docking station was extremely easy to plug into the USB port, and then hot-swap any 2 drives (SSD or HDD). They show up immediately in Explorer and are accessible as if they had been installed inside your computer itself. It's great for file transfer from old systems or drives. Highly recommended.

Got a really good deal on a open box of this fine store brand hard drive dock. It's an easy basic plug and play setup and works excellent.

Used this to transfer data from my old laptop hard drive to my new SSD hard drive and this made it so easy to accomplish that transfer. I was so pleased with it that I bought a 2nd SSD and also upgraded my wifes laptop.

This is a good USB3 to SATA 2 drive bay. Works great. Good speeds with SSD Sata drives. Works with 2.5 or 3.5in drives. Drives unmount smoothly with W10.

I had some old hard drives from the early 2000's in storage and needed an easy way to hook them up as "external" drives to my iMac. This thing works like a charm. You can put 2 drives in at once, and they can be either 2.5 or 3.5'' disks. I found pictures from 20 years ago. All my old music. This is also a must-have for people that regularly do data recovery work.

This 2-Bay docking station by Isignia is a great way to put into use older drives that you might have laying around. It's also perfect for upgrading computers when moving files off your old PC to a new one. It works with standard drives and laptop drives. It has a power switch so you can leave it connected to your PC and flip on/off as you need it. I've had no issues with plug-and-play simplicity. I bought it open-box but it's pretty inexpsensive no matter what. Great purchase!

I was truly surprised after hooking up this HDD docking station. It was only this version and another smaller HDD enclosure available in the store. I took this one (the other was for 2.5 HDD's) I needed it for my 5TB HDD. I was skeptical because I just purchased something liek this from amazon and it was horrible. This Insignia version is PERFECT! Pros: No firmware to download (Plug & Play) Open so it stays cool Dual HDD slots 2.5 or 3.5 HDDs USB 3.0 Power Switch! Price (You can catch this item for 30% off regularly) Cons: The HDD slot doors do not cover the entire slot when no HDD is inserted. I just lay a index card over it when not in use to keep dust out. (Dust is a top electronic device killer!)

I needed a quick way to connect a drive and a desktop together. I messed up installing the OS and the drive became slow. Attached it to my other computer so I could quickly force a format and try again. Lost an external drive due to a bad daughter board and this guy made it simple to reconnect it and recover the data. Both cases this guy performed and now I have this powerful tool for the next use case.

Works exactly as advertised! Does exactly what I need! Accepts two 3.5" HDD, or two 2.5" HDD/SSD. Externally powered, so does not need to be powered from PC. It has an additional USB port that can be used to plug in an extra device directly to the dock, to pass thru to PC. This is great as you don't necessarily lose a port when connecting this. Essentially gives you two External Hard drives that can be hot swapped and used simultaneously. Great for cloning/swapping/transfer/backup, whatever you need! Fair price point in comparison to other products! LED indicator to show drive in use. Also has a power switch on back of dock so that it may be turned off when not in use, to save power consumption. I love the eject buttons on the side as they make removing the drives painless and simple.
