My computer needed to be replaced and I kept the hard drive didn’t want to put it in the new computer but wanted to access the data.

Worked great getting data from an old computer where the mother board went out. Cheaper than paying someone to do it for me. The setup was very simple. The only downside was the latency accessing the drive. Unfortunately it will not work on a couple of old PATA hard drives I have.

I have several hard drives and was uncertain of the contents. Was was able to recover from two drives at a time. I erased two drives at a time. I was also able to image copy between two drives to switch larger drive and SSD.

Bought this to download photos and files from an old pc. But it never seemed to work well. Maybe it was me not not being tech savvy enough and the product not instructions on how to proceed

Only used a few times. Nothing fancy here. Good for bare drives

I had a hard drive issue and wanted to have a second hard drive. I had the drive, but not the space to put it into my computer. I got this and hooked it up and voila, extra storage. I control it, off and on. I love it!

it can also be used as additional external drive ports of your PC, I would not recommend for use with notebooks or laptops it is too much of a system hog on Battery operated systems. Ease of access for swapping out extra drives SATA or SSD.

Used it and returned it. I know, that’s wrong. I was trying to clear out my unused tech and wanted to pull data off of some old hard drives. My bad, Best Buy.

This is a solid, no-frills 2-drive dock; construction and feel are good and convey quality. NO extra features - like disk clone - just plugs for drives, but at this price point that's OK. WOrks great nad is excellent value for the money.

Works well. Sleek compact design. It's a dock - you turn if off, connect it to a computer, stick a disk or two in it, turn it on, and do what you want to do. When you're done, turn it off and remove the disks.

Works as advertised, no issues so far. Bought this to pull data off of 2 drives from my old laptop. One of the drives had apparently failed though, so I haven't been able to test 2 drives simultaneously, but 1 works flawlessly.

Bought open box worked flawlessly. Complete copy hardrive to harddrive.

I needed a solution to get information off my hard drive after my computer failed. This was presented to me and I decided to give a whirl. Well, now I am using it almost permanently with two 500GB hard drives ...and over a 1TB in the my machine...

This is amazing it gave me 2 more drives for storage and allowed me to transfer to new drives and swap out old drives

Gotta put some umph into inserting the hard drive but once in, it does the job.

Works perfectly if you need it for a SATA HDDs, but does not work with IDE HDDs. There is no image online showing the back of the box, but on the item I received it plainly states on the box that it does not read IDE. Nothing in the description mentions that either. Would not have purchased this item if that information had been available. I needed it to read an old IDE drive.

Great product, soes bring up both of the drives that you use and can help with troubleshooting some failing drives

I've always needed a SATA dock, now, since I've gone with a laptop, I definitely needed one. Works pretty well, with the USB 3.0, I can't complain, yet.
