Overall excellent docking station. Good quality, eject buttons were a little difficult to depress and they did not like coming out of the docking station easily.

Works great as a backup solution when I can swap out disks to keep multiple backup copies. I occasionally swap the disks and leave one at my office in case of a total loss such as a theft or god forbid a fire. SSD performance is great.

This product worked well. It was a bit confusing for me because the USB said in and it worked as an out.

Bought this as a replacement for a different dual dock that trashed two hard drives. Feels like a solid well built unit. Data transfers with this unit work, albeit very SLOW! I transfer large system image files up to 400GB in size. My previous docking station would transfer at speeds around 200-220 MBs/Sec. I was disappointed to find this unit transfers those same files at 40 - 50 MBs/Sec; using exact same ports & cables. I'm hoping the reduced speed will provide better reliability... Eject buttons require lots of force; much easier to just grab the drive & pull. Win 10; i5-3570k; 16G

Super useful tool to clone hard drives. I updated a spinning disk to SSD by cloning it. The SSD started right up with zero issues. Highly recommended.

I’ve built many home computers over the years and amassed a large number of drives when the programs grew in size and I needed more space. This helped me to ease have access to these old drives.

Handy item, worked as expected for SATA drives, wish it could also do the old IDE drives

It works and does what it needs to. I did find that copying files from drive to drive was slower than transferring it to my computer first then to the drive. Overall best budget dock.

After going through all of the hard drives that I've gone through lately this little tool came in quite handy. I used it on several bricked hard drives to retrieve the data off of them and it worked rather well. And it was well worth the money.

Had a hard drive enclosure fail. Used a different docking station and my computer found the drive unreadable. Purchased this one and the computer recognized it right away! Backed up everything on a new drive and we’re Good to go!

Old Workhorse PC broke down for good after 45 years..luckily this was in stock at Best Buy so i could take out the old hd in the broken pc and have INSTANT access to my old PC files..

I wanted pull data off of computer that died. Plug drive in the top, (accepts 2.5 & 3.5 inch drive), plug in USB cable and power supply (included), turn on power switch and read drives as an external drive

Insignia did the job for me when I needed to do some data backups. I highly recommend it

Works as intended very well. The issue that I have with it that dropped this rating a star is the absurd amount of single-use plastics in the packaging.

First used it to fix an SSD that was affected by an xbox update. After I was finished I put an additional SSD in and connected it to the Xbox for 1.5 TB of fast storage.

My external hard drive broke coz of the power, I was a able to still use it by using this docking station, great purchase, I didn't lose all my files. Highly recommended. and also usb3 speed.

It appears that this docking station requires a 3.0 USB port to connect to for it to work. Fortunately, we just bought a new computer for my wife so she should be able to use it.

Excellent product. I used this product during the time I needed to swap out my regular hard drive for a solid state hard drive. This product was used in the cloning of my new hard drive.
