    We had several older hard drives from various laptops and desktops. We were not successful in getting the docking station to work with all of the drives...so unfortunately we returned the item. Happily, customer service (the purchase and the return) even during COVID-19 went very smoothly.

    Device works, but you may need to remove hard drive mounting hardware in order to get the drive to seat properly. Does not feel durable, due to it being made of a light-weight plastic. With the appropriate software, you can clone hard drives.
