specs are better than the big name brands

But as for an In wall receptacle type of surge protector goes, it’s good. Compared to other well known name brands, these specs are better than those (including their hospital grade models)… This is UL-1449 certified. It has a clamping voltage of 500 volts, and energy dissipation of 1080 joules. Again, you could do better, but then you are looking at a strip type model (and spending more $) and lose out on the in wall receptacle type of model (like behind your wall mounted to).

Very handy outlet

Great for those appliances that you like to protect but doesn't make sense to have a surge protector power strip installed.

I recommend you invest on these surge protectors and replace the regular wall outlets so you can elimate repurchasing expensive products.

Easy to install. Look for this product when it is 50% off which happens about once a quarter. Don't pay full price.

110v surge protector outlet.

Good protection for wall mounted TVs

Easy to install, and I think it works

The little status LED goes green, so I'm assuming it works as a UPS; however, I haven't had an opportunity to really test that. As a 2-port 110 volt outlet, it works fine.
