Purchase was also prompted by my purchase of a Kindle Paperwhite that ships only with a charging cable, not with a wall adapter. Does what you'd expect it to do... charges two devices at the same time... takes a bit longer to do this, but that has to be expected. Call me naive, but I was amazed at how expensive this charger was. I think even with a $10 coupon (which is why I went to Best Buy in the first place) I paid $15. And now that I look up pricing for similar product on Amazon, I wasted time and money.

Some come with 4-5 slots and you can only charge 1 thing at a time anyways!!! And... if you don’t have one made from apple, along with the cord that comes from apple, then most of the time it doesn’t charge or it takes ALL DAY, to charge... I’m sure that’s why apple wants you to buy there product but they or I haven’t found yet, a ten foot cord
