For our backyard, there are two protected under the eave of the house, and two that get exposed to the desert sun several hours a day. After a few YEARS the cases on the exposed ones begin to warp, but they still sound the same. Don't expect "Bose" sound, and you won't be disappointed.

Think skull candy headphones....or worse, any Beats or Bose. Being an audio engineer I should have just made my own speakers in my garage. I can not wait to return these tincan sounding speakers back to the store.
