Q: Does outdoor mean that they are waterproof or do they need to be protected when outdoors?
A: Yes, but I do have mine under a overhang, but not needed. They get rained on and keep going. Soaked.
Q: Connection
A: they hook up with normal speaker wire. NO BLUETOOTH, NO WIRELESS, and no you can not hook these up to your phone
Q: Can I use it for a home teather output channel 100w 8ohms?
A: Sure, you can use it with anything but it is a small, bookshelf speaker. It's not going to have a powerful output. It would be great at lower volumes or as a surround or surround back speaker or even for a 2nd zone which is what I use it for. Max

A: no not a lot bass. but they sound great for the back yard or the shed
Q: Are these Bluetooth, and if not how do you connect to them.
A: No. They only work with an amplifier that is not Bluetooth.
A: You cannot just simply hook up these speakers to your TV. The TV does not have any speaker connection outputs on it. You would need a stereo amplifier with an AUX input which you would connect to the “audio out” connection on the back of the tv. These speakers can then be connected to the stereo amplifier.
