These lightweight, inexpensive speakers do the job just fine. Remember, the rear speakers do not have to be "loud" just be there to add the surround sound. There is no crackle or "hiss" in these speakers.

This is the second Insignia item that has NOT let me down. I was apprehensive in the beginning, but again they have not let me down. I paid less than a quarter of the price that i paid for POLK audio.

We had to replace 1 Bose speaker and didn't want to replace all of them. These speakers do the job, they are a little bigger than the Bose speakers but they still look good at the back of a room.

I hooked them up and they did more than expected. A really good buy for its price. I plan on going back to get another set (even if its regular price).
