Great sound...poor antenna connection

Disapointed with reboots when least expected

I wanted the Bluetooth feature to work and stream music via my Amazon Dot. Pairing to the Dot went perfectly. I thought it was not pairing but I was incorrect and smarter than me. Steams music from Amazon perfectly and consistently using with the Dot. The reception from the FM section is very good if you play with the included antenna a bit for getting the best signal. AM reception is OK. I mean I never listen to AM but I gave it a try. I had had just purchased a turntable to play my old vinyl records on that had a built in switchable preamp. That preamp will be needed to allow it to work properly with the input of this receiver. Not that many receivers come with a phono input anymore. If you are using an older turntable without a built in preamp you will need to purchase one with this receiver or buy a different receiver. I would then suggest one of the 2 channel. Sherwoods that can be ordered at Bestbuy.com as well. They are excellent and will last a long time I purchased the 4 year geek squad warranty as Insigna is not well known to me and It was only $20 for 4 years. Power of the receiver is sufficient to power the floor standing Pioneer speakers to decent volume levels with minimal distortion. Time will tell but so far I like this receiver .
