Great for My Shop. Nice upgrade from portable system.

I have been looking for a stereo receiver to power my Bose AM-5 speaker system. I was a little apprehensive about the Insigna based on the low price. Hooked it up last night and was very happy with the performance. Sounds great. The bluetooth feature is nice. I would highly recommend. This is coming from someone who previously owned a Carver Receiver which gave out after almost 20 years.

I use this receiver with my phonograph and occasional CD's. It has exceptional fidelity and responsiveness. Great value. Would replace in a heartbeat.

Dad needed an inexpensive receiver so I did some looking at the reviews and found this one. It does everything he needs and he is happy!

My grandfather's old stereo receiver finally gave up the ghost, and we bought this for him as a replacement. He loves how it has a remote control and is easy to use! The sound quality is great and it drives his old speakers perfectly.

Not a high end device but quite good quality for the money using it with polk t15 speaker and polk sub very satisfied

I bought this as a cheap, temporary substitute while my ONKYO TX-NR636 was in the repair shop. What a surprise! It is excellent! It's driving a pair of Polk speakers in the living room and a pair of Yamaha ceiling speakers in the kitchen and the sound is GREAT! Plenty of power, too.

Just what I needed for in Shop and outside Area. Sounds great for the price.

We wanted an easy to set up system to use and this worked well. A big reason we went with it was because it has bluetooth so you can easily stream music from your phone or computer to it. Great price as well and the quality sound great.

Great 400W 4 speaker Stereo Receiver. It sounds great with my 4 Infinity speakers. I got an open box from store at the day sale price cheaper and want one for my bedroom and buy four more speakers.

Bought this receiver for extra surround sound capability for the family room. Great sound quality at 200W. It is Bluetooth capable, which is great for streaming music.

Another outstanding product from Insignia! The bluetooth is great, and the reception from the FM antenna is fantastic! I don't use AM so I can't comment on that. Don't hesitate to buy this because the name isn't one of the "Big Boys" in electronics, this stereo receiver does a great job!

When our dvd player on an integrated unit went bad, we were kind of stuck. We wanted to continue to use the speakers and with this unit and a blue ray player were able to do that.

I was looking for a receiver to pull in FM channels that I could use with outdoor speakers (which I already had). Very happy with product. It did exactly what I wanted and expected.

If you're looking for a budget stereo receiver i would recommend giving this a look if you just need it for audio. Just a basic stereo receiver that only has rca inputs in the back and one 3.5mm input in the front. I have sony bookshelf speakers hooked up and everything works and sounds good. This receiver also has bluetooth so you can easily play music from your phone or other devices.

Have a tablet connected via bluetooth and 4 speakers connected to A/B. streaming music from tablet and the amplifier will randomly go into standby mode. The amplifier is sitting on a shelf so it is not a cooling issue. Volume is rarely above 30%. If we turn off either the A or B speakers it still drops into standby, just not as often. I ordered a home theater amp (not Insignia) instead to replace this junk.

if you are looking for a cheaper option and don't really need additional features this unit should work well for you. it comes with six speaker hook ups where you have to manually wire them into the back and other ports where it is more of the plug and play variety. i used my Galaxy S 4 to connect to it via bluetooth and it worked great and connected right away. All i had to do was turn the bluetooth on for both devices. the radio worked great as well didn't get all the channels but i think that is mostly due to the location it is in. looking at it i believe it would work for surround sound on a TV as well. great little machine but if you are needing any additional features such as CD player, USB ext. you will need to look elsewhere.
