Does what's basic

He didn't need the bells and whistles which it had none of, but it gets the job done. I will mention it's connected by an optical to rca converter as it is very basic and doesn't have optical or hdmi.

It is the perfect combination to allow us to play music from many sources while we enjoy that patio! Easy setup .

suprisingly good

It is replacing an older high end name brand. While it does not have some of the features (pre amp, subwoofer outputs etc) it does have good, clear sound. Bottom line: If you are looking for a basic amp with good sound quality this one is hard to beat.
