It stays precisely at -1°F continuously. I’ve never had a single problem. I have the largest tall unit that stocks mini mini items. The unit has a great vacuum seal that happens a few seconds after closing the door. Nothing but good stuff to say about this freezer…

Easier to pick up than to deal with delivery. I drove 45 miles, rather than 20 to janesville store for pickup.

Maintains deep freeze extremely well. Those that are complaining about the door sometimes sticking or impossible to open are probably experiencing a temperature suction lock. Opening the door the first time to put groceries in allows warm air into the freezer. While you're scooping up your second armful of groceries, the freezer has chilled that warm air that got inside. Hot air expands, cold air shrinks, thus forming a suction which holds the door closed. That also indicates that the freezer has a good seal. Great freezer and we're glad we went with the larger size.

Great unit for the price

Really wish the shelves supported more weight have about 40 pounds on shelf and definitely bends inward looking as if it may break. Hopefully it won’t wish a little more heavy duty for storing bulk meat. But otherwise absolutely love the unit for the price paid. Bought a second one. Another great idea would be if unit showed you current inside temp. Not just temp set point.

We use one for a freezer and one for a refrigerator. They are both in our heated garage. It's nice to have so much room in the freezer and have the extra refrigerator for pop, beer, etc. It will be nice to have the extra room around the holidays.

However, it does keep all my food frozen and my power bill doesn’t seem to have gone up by much so overall it’s a win. Now I just gotta fill a full of food.
