I bought two because I have a big family and needed space. Very easy to convert from one to another, with just the push of a button. They run quiet enough for home use and are sturdy enough for commercial use.

I haven’t had any problems yet but the again it’s still bee. I like the freezer/refrigerator feature Just in case I ever want to convert it over. The freezer maximum cold temperature is -11 degrees F so it gets cold enough.

Great freezer

Shelves bow under weight

Unfortunately the 21 holds less than the 17. The shelves are bowing drastically from weight of half beef. I was not able to put the rest in freezer for fear they would break. I have a kenmore 21 and a second 17 insignia that’s holding way more weight and meat with zero issues. I think shelves are two flimsy for the width they span. Otherwise it is a great freezer and love it. I highly recommend the 13 or 17 in this brand. Other issues are this one is extremely tall so buildings with low clearance are very challenging.
