I am pleasantly surprised with the purchase I made of the Insignia 21 C F Freezer. Being a brand I am not familiar with, I was a bit concerned with the quality. I've now been using it for a little over three weeks. I am impressed with the quietness when the freezer is running. I am impressed with how fast things get frozen. I am impressed with the design that allows for maximum items stored.

Just got the new convertible fridge/freezer a week ago. the delivery guys were great. The freezer seems to be working as advertised. My old one was not frost free, so this will be a new experience for me. The door seal is very good and it takes a bit of a pull to open it (but that's a good thing). It's tall and not as wide as my old one. Does not have the ability to put the handle on either side (not a problem for me).

Lots of space. Nice and clean looking unit. Has been working perfectly for 8 months. Only thing I wish was that there were more shelves. I only use this for a freezer so far, but having the option for fridge is appealing to me.

This freezer is a great addition to my garage. It has a lot of space to store all kinds of frozen foods, and it can also be converted into a refrigerator if needed. The temperature control is easy to use and the door alarm is a nice feature. The freezer is energy-efficient and works well in extreme temperatures. I am very satisfied with this product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile freezer.

Very quiet. Can be fridge or freezer. Freezes quickly. Only thing might need freezer containers since theres only how many shelves. Very spacious and good for bulky storage

Very large roomy interior, freezes well and quickly. The only con I could possibly come up with is that sometimes the seal on the door makes it difficult to open easily, but I suppose that would be a plus because you know air isn't getting in or out? We did not realize it was convertible and could be a refrigerator as well, considering getting a second one for extra fridge space.

Works great. I love the interior light option and no defrost operation. Some things i would improve: add a wifi option with an alert if kids leave the door open. There is a built in alert system, but you can't really hear it from the garage behind a couple of doors. The door shuts very well, I'd say too well, because it is hard to open it, you almost have to jerk it and apply a lot more force than one would expect.

This is a terrific convertible refrigerator/freezer. It has LOADS of room inside which is not encumbered by crisper drawers. it is sturdy, sleek and holds it's temp well. It is also very simple to switch from freezer operation to refrigerator and back again. This is actually the 3rd one of these our organization has purchased for our food distribution program. The quality is just that good and the price is very reasonable.

This Freezer was bigger than what I thought. The delivery people had to do a little bit of maneuvering to get it where I wanted it. The were very helpful and worked with my husband to get it moved to its finale home. It has lots of space to store all of your food. I am happy that it has the ability to go from freezer to refrigerator. The only thing that I wasn't happy with was you are unable to reverse the door to give you an option on what way it will open.

This is an amazing deal and works excellent. I use it on my covered back porch as a freezer and it has been rock solid.

Had the freezer for a few weeks now. Pretty quiet overall and holds temps very well. There is a lot of room in the 21 cu ft freezer! We got two of them. Have one running in freezer mode and the other in refrigerator mode. Both working well so far. Also got delivery for them. Made it much easier on me and the guys did a pretty good job.

I shopped for months, looking for the best freezer at the best price. Nothing comes close to the size quality and price. I’m so glad I bought it.

I really like this convertible upright freezer. In fact, I like it so much that we own two and use one as a freezer and the other as a fridge. They keep stuff at the temperature I want - I especially like the tight seal. It takes two hands to open - one to break the seal and the other to pull on the door - but the cold air stays in because the door shuts tight. I like the roomy shelves and the space in the doors. There's space to add soda and egg dispensers. If I had one wish, it would be to be able to switch the door so it could open left or right. That way, since I own two, I can open both doors wide when they're side by side. If you're looking for an amazing fridge or freezer but don't want to spend a ton, check out the Insignia Convertible Upright. I highly recommend it.

I've waited a month to see how it worked out and I'm glad to say it is great so far. Plenty of room and easy to set up and get going. Really like the temperature gage on the door.

Great item for a great price. Our old garage freezer bit the dust. This one fit the space and is actually bigger than what we had previously. I like thats its convertible, but we will probably only use it as a freezer.

This thing is great. It’s huge. Quiet. I love the door alarm. Would have been 5-star with two improvements, that don’t affect functioning. It needs metal shelves OR more shelves. The spacing between them is nice, but a bit big. I feel like you can load them up too much for the glass. Or add one more shelf end reduce spacing. The other thing would be, the digital temp on the door shows what it’s set to, not what it actually is. Still need a thermometer inside.

Best Buy delivered my new Insignia Upright Freezer, at the time I asked for it, and set it up professionally. The Freezer is all I could ask for. I love that it displays the temperature on the outside of the door. Everything is frozen hard, like it should be. I was a little concerned, that it wouldn't freeze hard, since it can also be a refrigerator. But it freezes better than the one I replaced did, when it was new. The layout of shelves and drawers are also very nice.
