The picture is great and it works as I would expect. The biggest ding is for the sound. The speakers are on the bottom and point downward. This wouldn't be an issue if you had it on a desk, counter, etc. I have it mounted on an extended arm and so I have to crank the volume to hear dialogue well. I'm entertaining the idea of plugging in some extra speakers or something like that to make it easier to hear. Other than that, can't complain all that much—especially for the price.

It works great! It makes it easier for me to see who is coming to my house and when. It has been very helpful when expecting packages from various delivery services. Two packages that were supposed to be delivered to me were delivered to other addresses and I had the proof from my video surveillance the packages never made it to my house. Looking for a small TV for your bedroom, bathroom or kitchen? This is a great choice.

Decent spare TV for

Full HD and paired with a Chromecast, this works well for recipes and entertainment while prepping and cooking. I've mounted it on the wall with 100mm x 100mm VESA. Screen had no dead pixels and the sound is pretty loud and clear. Obviously sound is always a weak point for LCDs but I can hear everything clearly on this. Don't pay more than a Benjamin for this though... these should be half that price!

Complains that a Fire TV stick is not a USB drive

Remote and menu are a bit clunky when compared to the integrated Fire TV versions. One REALLY ANNOYING item is that using a Fire TV stick on this TV and powering the stick off the USB port, each time the TV powers on there is a disruptive warning box saying the device plugged into the USB port is not a USB drive. Every. Single. Time. One would think that the warning would make sense if the TV Input was set to USB instead of HDMI, but nope. I really hope Insignia provides a flash update to this TV to fix this issue.

Then I read the reviews made by customers who already owned this TV model; and I became more impressed. I am writing this review to confirm the findings of those customers that this TV has indeed very sharp pictures and a big sound.
