Q: Can this TV be used as a monitor for my laptop?
A: Probably. I use mine as a monitor for my desktop.
Q: I want to have it on top of a table is it ok? Can I connect a dvd to watch movies?
A: I got the 22" model so it fits easily on a table (small footprint); check dimensions for other sizes. They come with easily attachable legs. It also has 2 HDMI ports as well as a cable (coax) input, component input, and usb port, so you should easily be able to hook up a dvd or Blue-ray player. I got this for viewing SD cards from a game camera--I used a SD card reader (purchased separately) and plug the usb plug into the back of the TV. Works fast and also does slideshow of images. Really nice TV. I highly recommend.
Q: Can this tv be hooked up to a simple antenae that sticks on a window to just receive local channels?
A: I hooked up mine to an antenna and the picture quality is very good!
A: The legs are not attached by the manufacturer. If you are mounting the TV don't attach the legs. If you do attach the legs they will have to be in the position shown on the website photos.

Q: Is the stand removable and is the TV wall mountable?
A: Yes, you can decide if you want to use the TV stand or a a wall-mount, the TV does not come with the stand installed, that way if you want to use a wall-mount it is easier for you to install it. Ruben- Insignia support.
