It is good, but cannot replace the actual work which only a monitor can do. You may need to change some settings for better use else the screen edges seen cut when you duplicate or extend your laptop screen. If you laptop has the option of dark mode, I would recommend using that else the colors you see on the monitor are heavily saturated and may strain your eye.
