Helping Out
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality leaves a little to be desired, setup instructions for on screen choices not the easiest to follow, however all this being said it is not a terrible TV for the sale price paid.

resolution of text not smooth
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am dissappoinated in the resolution. the TV is supposed to be full HD; however, text (like when watching the text on business channels) very often looks jagged, and not smooth.

Does not support apple airplay
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV specifically for Airplay/HomeKit support. I searched the questions and there was one from a couple month ago that was ANSWERED BY INSIGNIA indicating that it has that support. Apparently insignia doesn’t know their own products. Because it had such a short return window I’m stuck with it. It’s an ok little TV and I’ll find something to do with it, but my intent was making it a 3rd monitor for my MacBook. So buyer beware- no support for airplay

Not a great product.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bulky frame. Inconsistent lighting contrast. Purchased a Vizio for $20 more. Superior picture quality. And frame much lighter and speak.

Buy as your last choice, accept disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An unreliable product - the program/station selection often reverts to the "program guide" display then back to the power on screen. It periodically indicates "low storage". Response time for channel/program selection is slow/sluggish. All the above even after deleting apps, freeing cache and cold starts (unplug, let sit for a while). Poor operating system degrades his TV which behaves like the old 286/386 PCs.

OK but Very Limited & Confusing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK TV but confusing to operate. It defaults to Amazon Fire. ALSO the controls on this TV do NOT allow channel selection for a channel not in your viewing area. If you use a switch to select TV antenna or Cable (connected by coaxed cable) this TV will not work, We exchanged it for an LG TV.

Some disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told by sales person that I'd be able to get broadcast stations without antenna. It turns out not so, but I've kept it for programs available with wifi.

Slow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very slow to load. Once it's streaming seems to work without issues. Getting around the apps and menus is very very slow.

Not great for streaming.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't have this TV for very long. I don't have cable TV but have HULU live. I would be in the middle of watching a show and it would just stop and go back to the home screen. It didn't matter if it was live TV or VOD. I tested other TVs in my house that were not Fire TV and they worked just fine. So process of elimination, it was the TV, not my internet. I would not recommend this TV.

TV seems great, but the Fire TV software????
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV itself is pretty nice….but the Fire TV software and apps really suck. Apps (like NBC, CBS, ESPN, etc) take a fairly long time to load once you select them, and then they’ll run your show but in ten or fifteen minutes it craps out, stops running, gives you an error code and says to call customer service if it continues. So, ok….who’s customer service? The TV manufacturer, the app developer, the TV station, Fire TV, Best Buy??? And, when you do the initial setup, you enter your cable provider to provide authorization to watch channels (like Disney+ or Peacock or HBO, etc)…but then when you watch that channel, sometimes it makes you resubmit the same info again. Annoying. Will return and try something that runs on something of than the Fire TV platform.
