The TV itself is pretty nice….but the Fire TV software and apps really suck. Apps (like NBC, CBS, ESPN, etc) take a fairly long time to load once you select them, and then they’ll run your show but in ten or fifteen minutes it craps out, stops running, gives you an error code and says to call customer service if it continues. So, ok….who’s customer service? The TV manufacturer, the app developer, the TV station, Fire TV, Best Buy??? And, when you do the initial setup, you enter your cable provider to provide authorization to watch channels (like Disney+ or Peacock or HBO, etc)…but then when you watch that channel, sometimes it makes you resubmit the same info again. Annoying. Will return and try something that runs on something of than the Fire TV platform.

Absolute trash. Constant issues with apps crashing, connecting to the wifi but not the internet, etc. Easily one of the worst things i have ever bought. Im had to get a chrome cast so i can stream media to it it. Oh and be careful factory resetting it. I had to restart it 4 times before it actually started the setup process.

This tv is horrible. I’ve tried every fix online. It crashes at least 2 or 3 times while I’m playing games. It freezes too. I’m constantly unplugging and plugging it back it to reset. Nothing fixes it permanently. Don’t buy.

I have very unhappy with this purchase and have contemplated returning it. Mainly the sound is not consistent. I am 80 years old and have a problem hearing. The sound fluctuates and occasionally has static which make watching this TV difficult. Is this an anomaly or indicative of your product? What do you suggest I do?

Horrible ! I was all excited for the TV but I couldn't even get to the Homepage as the remote doesn't pair up ! The remote can turn the TV on and off but when it comes to pairing, the screen displays a message not finding the remote !

Had high hopes for insignia but after less than 3mos, tv repeatedly turns itself off and remote has become unresponsive/useless. Getting any help from BEST BUY is impossible. It's a great little tv when it works.

Possibly the worst purchase I ever made from Best Buy. I just wanted a small TV for my office. I got this Smart Insignia thinking that it would be good enough since I wasn't looking for a great picture or anything. However, there is NO picture because 90% of the time it will not power on.
I searched online and it seems that this is a major issue with Insignia TVs. I cannot get any response from the maker and am now stuck with a non working TV. I will never, ever buy Insignia anything again. I HIGHLY encourage everyone to re-consider if you are thinking of getting one of these.
