    Difficult to understand/horrible smell that’s coming from tv when turned on//interference from remote on older tv that turns on new/disappointing...Not satisfied

    This Insignia was taken out of the box and has been out for3 weeks now and it is off gassing so bad that I will probably have to return it Can't stand being in the same room with it. Device seems to work OK but the smells is just unbearable (haven't watched anything on it yet).

    This tv is nice but I can’t get it to operate through my DISH network. The sound is very low and cannot get it to be “normal”. I have to put the sound over 50% to hear normally. Be tried everything and am frustrated

    I was sold a tv that did not work

    Best Buy sold me a tv that did not work. Out of the box item. Ok, fine. Someone purchased it and returned it without the box. I got a “deal”, but it’s not a deal IF IT DOES NOT WORK. For this, I am very disappointed. When I went to return it the cashier tried to tell me I wasn’t within the 15 days I was given to return it. That’s because I had to special order 2 remotes to see which would work. So I had to demand management help with my transaction to get a full refund after I was only offered store credit by the initial cashier. Very bad experience over all. I advised them to please stop selling that tv and have I looked at and/or repaired before attempting another sale.

    disappointed that it didn't work because it was at a great price but the return process was very easy and I understand that these things happen sometimes. Seems to be common with the Fire TV edition.

    Geek Squad certified Insignia TV

    "Geek Squad Certified Open Box items go through a 20+ point inspection to ensure that the device: Is fully operational and in "like-new" condition. Includes all parts and accessories. Is restored to original manufacturer specifications. Is professionally cleaned and re-packaged." I am extremely disappointed in ability of the Geek Squad to "certify" an open box item. The TV was poorly packaged, not clean, missing the power cord and had the batteries in the remote. Fortunately for me, I had a spare power cord from another electronic item that fit. Otherwise I would have returned the TV. The TV works and is okay but not "like new" and free of blemishes. Next time, I'll spend the extra few bucks and buy new in the box.

    I don’t know why Insignis has problems setting up the closed captioning function. I’ve had 2 different ones and they both do not hold the closed captioning. I had promised myself never to by another one because of the challenge and this time I’m sticking to it.

    The Fire TV does not come with enough internal memory (8 GB) to download necessary apps for streaming programs. Of the 8 GB less than half is available for use, the rest is used by Amazon ;o(

    Invariably, the television blacks out or shuts off while watching a program. And, its happening with more frequency. The set was purchased in part due to good ratings and it hasn't performed well.

    Had less than a year. Sat on my tv stand, goes black then when I turn on shows broken screen. No problem, less than a year old, plus bought extra warranty. Wrong. Geek squad tells me not covered by warranty. Even worse, my extra warranty ran consecutively not concurrently, so my extended warranty that’s never used is pro rated. How silly is that to buy an extra warranty. Save your money on this brand and definitely steer clear from any Best Buy warranty.

    Took 4 hours with phone assist. It has an awful smell. Still is difficult to turn on to correct cable station. Sound has to go to 100 to be loud.
