    I hate those nonensnse "guards" over the release "trigger". They sometimes get in the way of properly inserting the cable in the the jack. They VERY often make it hard to remove as well. Maybe this is just a problem in my environment.

    It's an Ethernet cable. Those are hard to screw up unless you're completely incompetent. You can buy online or terminate your own for a better price and about the same quality if you are a do-it-yourself kind of person.
