Best Value in entry-level SL track massage chairs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Insignia 2D Massage Chair (NS-MGC300BK1) is made by iRest, the same as the “iRest A303 SL Track”, with the following differences: The Insignia only comes in black. Does not have the waist airbags. Does not have Bluetooth speakers. Does not have the blue LED lights on the outside. It does not have the quick-access armrest mounted buttons (only duplicates a few remote buttons). It does add a user preset memory, which the A303 does not have. The best price, on-sale, is $900. The best on-sale price on the A303 is about $1350. I have both chairs, they massage very well, with a strong intensity. If too intense, add a folded towel or blanket between you and the chair. Lots of adjustments you can make. These two chair models are the best-values out there for an entry-level SL track chair. The SL track means that the massage mechanism curves behind your glutes (it goes below your lower back). I have had the iRest branded chair for over a year, use it very often, no problems. The Insignia I only have for a few weeks so far. It would be nice to have illuminated remote buttons. Probably too small for you if you are much taller than 6Ft, or a “real big” person……

Bad Product.

Not worth the headaches

Been getting run around about the manufacturers warranty, best buy telling me to call insignia, insignia telling me to speak with best buy. Filed AG complaint and disputed with Paypal since can't get anywhere. Air function broke, and the rest is struggling. I am under weight limit and height limit and even so, it really didn't hit shoulders/top of back well.

Garbage

But even still, you pick any of the 6 preprogrammed massages and they all do the EXACT same thing….pick full body you get full body, pick neck and shoulders you get full body, pick waist and buttocks you get full body…. Etc… serioulsly disappointed….

There is not an easy way to get it repaired. Best buy does not help. I would not recommend purchasing without some sort of protection plan which was not an option.

Damaged product

Some of the air bags don’t get air, I’m disappointed with my purchase because I can’t return it back to the store since the item is to big to fit in my car to return back to Best Buy.

Dont buy it

Customer service promise to refund fornthey cannot fix it. But i received store credit which i didnt ask. When we called cuatomer service, associates feom india and Phillipines lies every time and even hang up the phone purposely and dont call back. They need to do something with their customer service. Worst experience ever.

Don’t trust Insignia

Contacted Insignia and was told it is under warranty so I was getting a replacement. I’ve been waiting for 2 months now for Insignia’s “back office” to approve the replacement. I’ve called multiple times and just keep getting told that it’s waiting approval from the “back office”.

Don’t offer what you can’t ship

Even walked into a store in Texas and I live 3000 miles away to order it in person. Salesman takes my card everything goes well and then two days later cancelled. Don’t offer items you can’t ship to Hawaii or Alaska unless you can provide them. Yet you provide a more expensive chair in the stores available.
