    I'm old enough to still have a Sony discman, which I wanted to connect to my car stereo to work around the factory-installed cd player that was on the fritz. This cable worked perfectly to connect the audio-out from the discman to the auxiliary port in the car. Since cables seem to be going in the direction of USB, I was glad to find this one.

    Lost/misplaced factory cord for my Sony headset. This is an ok replacement. Doesn't fit as snuggly into headphone port <no 'snap' when inserting> but it works
