    Typical cord of this type is about 18", too short to effectively use in most trucks or autos when connecting to an iPhone using the ALT setting for playing music through on-board speakers. This one is about 3' in length. Much heavier gauge wire and solid, heavy duty connections. So far, works great. Highly recommend.

    I went in to buy a replacement cable. This brand has always worked for me and I never had any problems with the connection using these. My nephew lost them so I had to get another pair and of course Best Buy had them available and at a good price

    Bluetooth is nice, but if you have an older device its nice to be able to connect it to your bluetooth speaker via the headphone jack. I use this to connect an AM radio to a speaker so I can listen to the game on the golf course.
