    I've gone through numerous aux cables for my iphone to the car stereo throughout the years. They all had the sprial cords which is annoying because over time the connector end would separate from the wire over time. Having a straight wire, I havent seen the stretching on the connector ends so far.

    I broke the audio cable that accompanied my Sony headset and needed a replacement. This 3' audio cable works just fine. It is 1' shorter than the cable it replaced, but this has not been a problem. This works -- if you need such a cable this works.

    I returned the product as it did not allow me to connect to the airplane entertainment console with my iPhone 7+ earbuds. This was my mistake. The solution would involve buying another Apple adapter at 3-4 times the cost. I chose to use other earbuds on hand.
