Just from the feel of the product it seems it will hold up for awhile. The only thing I wish, it was a little longer. Overall very happy!

The car is a newer model that does not have a CD player. The cable does not make good connections with the portable CD player and has to be manipulated by hand in order to make a connection, if any at all. I will return this item to Best Buy.

Tough cord
