Needed to hook up two headphones to my ipad and this works perfectly. Need to use with apple cord provided to be able to use the ipad with headphones.

Nice little piece of tech. This is a necessary item if you have kids on a long car ride, you must have a splitter!

Okay, I'm using this for some start up I got going on. I searched through the Q&A, nothing. YouTube came to provide. In search I found the solution to hearing your recording while doing so, without delay in sound (echoing). How to hear yourself with mic/headset: Sounds settings> Input: device properties: additional device properties> Listen> Listen to this device: Apply Hopefully this helps! Not all devices have the ability to have no delay on audio. I'm using Sony Condenser Mic and Turtle Beach Headphones/Mic

I didn't think much of it when purchasing, however it is a split er that gives you the audio through both ends.

This little piece of equipment did exactly what I needed it to do. We use it on the plane to watch movie together on the same iPad. Sounded fine, no cracking or popping.
