We used it for an iPad that still has a standard headphone jack. Two kids sharing one iPad and two sets of headphones so that we don’t have to run the sound through the car speakers. Works just as expected and everyone was happy! Only deducted one star for the price. This item is much cheaper from alternative places but I didn’t have the time to wait for shipping.

If I had one change I'd make, it would be to make the cord a bit longer, so that the two users can have a bit more space between them if need be.
