Being too loud, being to low and us telling them to turn it down. So the splitter solve that issue, by allowing them to control their on headset.

I completely understand your point of view, as my dad girlfriend has 2 small kids that are always fighting because of the video games. We have to constantly tell them to lower the volume. You would be amazed how many people say yes....and in shock! Haha! Share a movie, make a new friend!

I guess my only complaint was that the individual volume controls on our earbuds wouldn’t work and I couldn’t hear well so I had to turn it up on the iPad but then it was way too loud for my husband. Maybe I just need better earbuds!
