It was average. You kind of have to twist it here and there to get the static sound to go away, and to get the full sound in both ears of your headphones/earbuds. I returned it when I found a pair of headphones that came with a jack. Much better off than buying this product. But if you just need something quick and cheap, and sound quality isn't your priority, then this will work just fine.

Made sure the adapter was fully seated and tried twisting with little to no improvement. Swapped it out for a higher quality adapter and sound was clear.

When I used this adapter, it caused a crackling sound in my headphones. The left speaker would go in and out. Sometimes, when I rotated the adapter, it would start to work. Not worth returning to the store. Threw it away and ordered a completely different brand.

Have to nudge it and rotate it around but even still it goes wacky and messes with my audio interface output. I lost my last one (different brand) which worked perfectly but this one just doesn't work. I missed the return window but whatever its like $7 for a new one.
