Easy to install
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The backside of this module is rather low profile compared to other outlets I've used so install was much easier. There are holes on the back to insert AC wires making it easy to connect up without leaving exposed wire ends. The wire inserts can then be tightened with screws instead of using spring tension so it is easy to remove the wires again if needed.

Works well but hard to install

My previous outlet was feeding another outlet so I needed to tie the wires together then attach to this new outlet. Definetly a pain to install. Also, the screws on the side do not allow for you to loop the cooper wire around them, which was a negative. Once installed the product works great, use it to charge my iPhone and all USB charging products.

It feels really nice to somewhat modernize my power with easy to access usb chargers in the house that don't require a power brick. Anyone on the fence should definitely buy a few of these, at least for the living room if not the bedroom too.

It works as intended and leaves the outlets open for other uses. The only problem I had was fitting the receptacle back into the box because the charger takes quite a bit of room in the electrical box. Would work best if it was on the end of a run where there are only two wires in the box.

Affordable Way To Upgrade Your Home

Once you start swapping out existing sockets you will probably find that your wiring is inconsistent throughout the house. Other than that installation is simple. There is some difficulty in securing the wiring into the unit, but that is about it.

Easy to install and gets rid of extra plugs and power strips. Be care fully of the depth of the electrical box in your home, when installing. My home is 45 years old and some of the boxes are smaller .
