It was a little hard to install but easier then I thought

As a DIY homeowner, I"ve installed electrical outlets before with no issues; however the installation of this product proved to be a bit challenging. First off, please notice the depth of this product. The outlet I had wanted to replace contained a shallow electrical box which posed a significant issue when trying to fit this product into. Secondly, the ground wire screw for this product is located poorly, and was difficult to connect to the ground wire coming out of my electric box - causing the wire to disconnect almost every time I attempted to fit the outlet into the box. Ultimately, I reinstalled the legacy electrical outlet - no USB ports for me :( I'm sure this is a good product; and I will provide an update once I am able to use it.

Installation was quick and easy. I've been using it for a few weeks and it works great. So nice being able to charge iPhone/iPad without having a brick tying up an outlet

I'm really happy I purchased this USB charger wall outlet. I like that the two USB outlets allow you to charge your mobile devices without having to use the electrical outlets. I also bought dirt cheap as a Deal of the Day item. Very happy with this product.

Great for a family with a ton of devices - works great

works as advertised. It is a little thick and bulky.

It's an easy install. Just three wires. It can be a tight fit but slides right into the electrical box. Does say it needs to be grounded. Nice to have easy access to charging power and still have plug-ins still available. May have to install these in more rooms.

I ordered the total of 8 qty for this item. Three are directly from Best Buy, other are through the Ebay that also sold by Best Buy. I installed 3 for my remodeling house and the other I bought for my sisters. It’s quite a good deal for this. Hopefully, it works well. Will keep updated when I start using it.

Great replacement to normal receptacle! This allow user to charge two phones or tablet at the same time and still have two regular outlet for other devices/electronics. Installation is easy, no drilling and just utilize the wires in the existing junction box.

I decided to buy these because "certain" family members have a habit of losing their charges. By installing these in several rooms that is no longer a problem. Too bad they don't permanently attached charging cables........ :) Note: if you use a cheap cable it may not charge.

Finally installed one of these yesterday. It charges well and I love that it’s tamper resistant so our 1 year old can’t plug stuff into the power outlets, but I don’t have to keep an outlet cover also.

My husband was able to quickly remove the old plug and replace it with this one. Both USB ports work great and eliminate the need for a power block using up the outlet. The unit is attractive and fits into a normal sized electrical wall box.

I installed this outlet horizontally so this may cause issues. It comes with a safety feature that I believe causes the openings to close when items are not plugged in. Since it's in horizontally I think it's what makes it difficult for things to plug in easily. So when I do I have to maneuver it to slide it in.

Love everything about this outlet. Only problem was during some installation if you have too many wires cramped it behind it will be little hard to fit it in. Some outlets have more wires due too connecting to other outlets

I purchased this mainly for the USB ports, and those work and charge properly. However - the "Tamper resistance" of this outlet is a whole new level, and like nothing I've ever seen before. You have to sneak up on the thing and attack it from a very specific angle to get a plug in - brute force alone won't cut it. I can safely estimate I have plugged items in to thousands of different outlets across my life - and this one is by far the most challenging to use. Maybe mine is defective but I guess I'll never know.
