Replaced standard plug at my workbench with Insignia USB wall outlet. Gave me same two plug standard outlets with two USB outlets.

Works well to avoid using a separate charger. As more devices are going to USB connections, I am using them to run lights as well. 3.6a is total output.

This duplex outlet is easy to install and features two usb charging ports . Make sure you shut off the power before you begin and then its quite easy to do. Charging cable plugs right into outlet usb ports eliminating the need for a charger!

Granted, it was offered as a DOTD, but one would be hard-pressed to get this product or a similar type at this price. Novel idea. UL Listed. Look forward to putting them in every bedroom and the family room/study.

The back is bulky and didn’t fit my standard size box. Got these on a deal of the day but ended up having to modify the existing equipment.

I bought two of these and put one in the office and one in the kitchen. They have helped reduce the clutter of big plugs and they free up space to plug in other things.

Needed to replace the outlet in the kitchen. It was nice to be able to have usb outlets without needed to find a charger.

Make sure you turn off power before installing. This product allows you to use to USB outlets and the AC outlets at the same time. Works great.

This outlet is just what i needed. It allowed me to free up two outlets and still get my devices charged up. Im glad I purchased 2.... And the sale price made this a no brainier to buy.

I bought this because I have an adjustable bed that takes up space on my plug along with an alarm clock. I figured I could plug my watch and cell phone into the USB and leave the bed and clock plugged into the outlets. Well, they won't fit. There is not enough space for them. Plus, if you have something plugged into the top and something plugged into the USB outlets, then you cannot plug a cord into the bottom outlet. It might work for most people, but did not work for my situation. If you only have two USB's and one plug, then you might be in luck as long as the plug that you need to power is not bulky.

Got this on deal of the day. It's a nice replacement to my old outlet. Hoping the charging ports last the test of time. So far so good.

i like the concept but the regular plugs take herculian force to insert. not sure why it is so difficult. love the usb ports but regular outlets are unusable.

It’s a great value but I wish the shape of the outlet cover plate was different because we have custom covers that are not compatible but the light switch covers will work we will just have to order some

The first outlet I tried was too crowded with wires, but it works well in an outlet with single black, white, green wires. Will consider buying more.

Hooked up two of these to free up some room. Works great and does the job. Still charges the phones and tablets fast. Easy to install and comes with the faceplates.
