Great concept

Upon installation, I discovered that with the depth of this receptacle and the amount wires in my existing receptacle box, it wouldn't fit. I couldn't this receptacle back in the box enough so the face plate wouldn't be far off the wall. Check to see how much room you have before purchasing.

Difficult at first

So disappointed

I had no issue installing them. That is the only plus. Over time I found that if I had a USB cable plugged in I could not fit in a standard 3 prong connector at the same time. The cable and plug would bump into each other. Now I cannot plug anything into the outlets. It is like the outlet is closed. No matter what I do I cannot insert any normal appliance connector. How is it possible they worked one day and not the next? It is all one piece so there is nothing to adjust. I am installing my original outlets tomorrow. My advice, skip the cool factor and stick with what works.

Disappointing

However, when I hooked it up and plugged something in, the outlet started humming. Doing a little research online and I found that something may be loose inside causing the humming. I didn’t try the other one that I bought. I just returned them!

Not the greatest

I read some reviews before purchasing and didnt want to believe what some said about it. I found out the hard way. Paid $10 each for 2 during a promo and returned them after checking to see if it would fit.
