||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted a permanent USB outlet installed in the outlet we use all the time to charge items using USB so this wall outlet is exactly what we needed. Love that you have 2 outlets plus the 2 USB ports (some come with only 1 outlet plus 2 USB ports) but depending on the cord, you may not be able to use either outlet if you have something plugged in to both USB ports. That's the one downfall for this design. Anything with a larger end on the cord won't fit in the outlet with both USB ports being used.

Great, reliable USB/AC outlet combo

My only advice is that if you have folks in your house who are irritated by high-pitched noises, when current flows to the USB ports, there's an ever so slight sound emitted from the units. Great Insignia product.

Two outlets for electrical power and two usb outlets to charge you electronic devices. Just remove an existing outlet after turning off the power of course and replace with this outlet. Took about 15 min. Make sure you have a tiny pic or screwdriver to release the house wiring from old outlet. New one has the same push in holes for the house wiring to fit into. Also has screws on the side to hook wires to if you want to do it that way
