Worst consumer experience of my life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My landlord bought this machine for my apartment, replacing a simple, sturdy Whirlpool workhorse that had lasted well over 12 years. While washing one small item, this Insignia made an ugly noise and broke down less than 6 months after delivery. The drain pump isn't getting all the water out and the machine doesn't seem to be agitating. Have been trying to get it repaired or replaced for over 2 months. Worst consumer experience of my life. Cheap plastic. Poor quality. Customer service is ineffective and has no follow through. SO much wasted time and energy trying to resolve this. Hours and hours and hours. Pros: It has a good size tub and you can set 3 load sizes, manually, and avoiding the autofill-sensor. Machine is only 109 lbs. Other cons: Loads took forever to wash. Have to pause machine to open the lid. Regular sound of machine cycle was unpleasant. Also, became unbalanced more easily than any machine I've used, although this was simple to correct. Had to treat the machine extra gently, because you could see it was cheap plastic. Can't imagine this as a family machine.

And the auto is all messed up cause it dont matter what size i put it on it doesn't fill up. Ive read the manual a couple of time to make sure i was using it right and it doesn't say anything about the water level.

Didn't last - dead in under 3 years

No one can service the best buy brand because they can't get the parts. I was told even if they could, it would cost more to repair than to replace. A lot of hassle these last couple years for a poor product. I've stopped purchasing from Best Buy because they've raised all their delivery and installation fees and removed benefits from their upgraded plan.

The washer was dropped off at 9:00 am this morning. It filled up with water and that's all it did. The error code says that there is an issue with the EEPROM. Now I have to take time off from work, so they came come and look at it. Off to the laundromat I go.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Liked for a few months then problems started Did not get clothes very clean Could not due bulky items like loads of towels or sheets without it get off balance, clanging, etc. Loads like this would also make wash time 2+ hours Very loud as weeks would pass. At the 13 month mark, Control panel kept going out due to steam escaping the lid when wash with hot water. Had to let it sit for 30-45 min then it would randomly come back on.

I would never purchase an appliance from Best Buy again. It has been over a month since our initial request for this washer to be fixed and each time Geek Squad comes out, they say a part needs to be ordered and they won't be back for weeks. Calling customer service was not helpful. Do not buy this product.

The 3rd time we used itwe had some heavier lined jeans and a heavy sweater and in the rinse cycle it kick out the memory in the computer because it kept repeating rinse, spin, rinse and spin. i finally had to pull the wet clothes out of the machine and spin dry the batch with two items at a time . I will definitely never buy another on of these !

A couple of weeks after the 1 year warranty and it died. Beat buy is no help. They told me I likely couldn't even get parts for the crap they sell. Don't shop best buy, don't buy insignia!!!!
