My mother is visually impaired and needs something that is easy to use without complex controls. This absolutely fits the bill and she is extremely happy with the washing machine.

Works well but it’s loud

A loud thump comes from the back of the washer as it draws in more water. It was so loud that I called Best Buy within the first 15 days so they could replace the machine. They said it’s just what the washer does so I’m using it like that. Thankfully, it’s in our basement so the sound is tolerable. If this were in a closet on the main floor, I’d probably return it.

Good Washing Machine

A couple dents that were not that bad but that is why it was such a good price. The machine itself work wonderful. My mom is happy with it.

One thing I don't like about it is the fact that it makes a lot of noise when it operates. This clunk, clunk, clunk on every turn as it is washing/spinning just about drives me nuts! At LEAST it doesn't try to dance across the floor and out the door like the Hotpoint I bought 3 years ago. I'm hoping this lasts as long as my cousins has. He bought a pair of Insignia 25 years ago and STILL has them! He is the one who gave me the name. I love the way the whole top lifts up and the fact that it is so lightweight, MOST people wouldn't like that!

Even if it's smaller than other washers it can still wash a lot of clothes. It is perfect for two people's laundry. Delivery and installation took less than ten minutes!
