Got the washer/dryer set they are extremely good machines for the price

The washing machine was "professionally" installed by Best Buy workers but the cords have come apart twice & the washing machine jumps around sometimes to the point it will cut off & since my laundry room is outside, sometimes I won't know for hours.

I got this machine because it was affordable and had good reviews and I thought by buying new I would avoid issues that come with a used machine. Right away I noticed that things were getting stuck under the agitator and an item of clothing was destroyed this way, but at first I was able to pull them out. Then a blanket got completely stuck and it wasn't coming out without removing the agitator. I called Insignia and was told they would send a repair person out but that kept getting cancelled without anyone notifying me (so I sat there all day for nothing) or telling me the reason for cancellation. After three cancellations over three weeks (that's a long time without a washer when you have a kid and no laundromat nearby btw) and no explanation, I kept calling until someone would explain what was going on. I finally was told that it wasn't something that could be repaired and they were just going to replace the machine. So why did they keep rescheduling only to cancel? Who knows. I had to wait over another week for the delivery. So that was 4 weeks without a washer. I thought it would be fine because I was told by the guy at Insignia that this was such a rare issue, and I liked the machine otherwise. But it's two weeks after the second machine was delivered and I'm in the exact same situation. I went to go remove a load of sheets and one of my sheets was stuck under the agitator. How rare can this be if it's happened with two different machines. I never overload the machine and I select the proper settings each time. It will be almost two weeks again before the replacement machine is delivered and now I'm afraid to put anything in it because it might happen again. I was not offered compensation for my damaged items. I can't afford to keep replacing blankets and sheets and clothes, and I shouldn't even have to worry about that with a brand new machine that is supposedly designed to wash such items. I lost about $50 worth of items so far. So disappointed with this machine and customer service at both Insignia and Best Buy.

So far, I've been very happy with the washer. I was skeptical about the size, but it's more than large enough for me.

We set up our selves and that took a bit, but the more` we use it the better we like it

Delivered and set up on time and they were very respectful. They tested the washer and dryer to make sure they were working properly.

My Mil wanted/needed a new washer but she was adamant she didn’t want. New fancy washer with all the bells and whistles. Found this one, ordered it and had it delivered/installed. She has had the washer for about 4 months now and she couldn’t be happier. Says it washes very well.

It definitely gets the job done an inexpensive cost. Great for the price. The tub is really deep for large loads. Although too deep for my 5’ short self to reach in for clothes. I just put a small stool and it is perfect.

Love it. Glad I went with top loader instead of front loader. It is really deep and holds a ton of clothes!!

Great machine, efficient and smother, clothes are washed quite well.

Got delivered but i haven't set it up yet! We just got our home set up and our water and electric isnt hooked up to try it yet!

Very impressive! It’s a great machine. Like all the different cycles and water levels. Clothes come out clean and smells great .

Initially, the washing machine worked as it should even though it tho always loud from day one. But I have now had this machine for 20 months and it is beginning to be such a hassle. No matter how I take my time and place my laundry in the drum making sure to not have too many clothes on one side, the machine will move the clothes to the point to where the load is very much unbalanced. I have to repeatedly pause the cycle to redistribute the load and this happens almost every load and it doesn't matter how many article of clothing is in the machine at the time. It also has begun to take longer and longer to complete a cycle-specifically the rinse/spin portion.

When my father's 60 year old washing machine finally broke down, I purchased this. It was narrow enough to fit the dimensions where the previous washer was placed and the controls are not overwhelming for the elderly.
