The TV Button controls the volume and turning on the TV, while the STB Button controlled the channels, guide, info, details your provider would have had. 5 Stars for the pricing and availability at Best Buy...otherwise we would have had to contact our TV provider DirectTV for replacement remote.

No learning curve like with these weird Roku TV remotes with no numbers on 'em and all the features are hidden.
