Not happy with the remote

Necessity for Roku + external sound system

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use a TCL Roku TV and a Onkyo 5.1 audio system, but unfortunately the TCL Roku remote doesn't know how to control sound systems (they can only turn the TV speaker volume up and down). I bought this remote for the ability to lock the volume controls to the Onkyo system, while the cursor buttons lock to the Roku. Now I don't need two remotes! The manual is super easy to follow as well.

Works much better than the standard Roku remote that came with the tv. My only gripe is that the buttons are flush and not raised. Therefore, I accidentally push other buttons.

The Toshiba remote didn't have number keys and my folks wanted the ability to go directly to a station. On the third universal code try, the TV responded. Numbers, channel up / down, and volume up / down work great. Other TV remote features (home) don't, but they really didn't need that anyway.

It works, but not remotely as good as the OEM

I'm really great at pushing buttons. Turns on the TV and controls volume. Mute doesn't work on the TV, but works on the girlfriend for some strange reason. And now I can't go home.
