    Its hard to use and give it the functions as the original controller had, to operate it and make it as the original is just complicated, i can only do so much with it.

    We have an Insignia Brand TV and I thought this would be a perfect replacement for the remote. We lost our original remote. This one simply does not work. I followed everything in the instructions but nothing works.

    This was not a lit remote which is what I needed. Was able to return it for a TERK remote without effort thanks to Best Buy.

    It's not bad, but my remote control came out with the buttons inverted, you have to press the one on the left to go up, the one to go up goes to the right and so on, just for that reason I give it 2 stars

      This may cause by using the family code sets, not every code work correctly. Please follow up the user manual to try another code set.

      "If one or more buttons do not work as expected, start again at step 2 till ALL buttons on the Insignia Remote works. Your remote will start with the next code in memory.

      1 Turn on your device and point the Insignia universal remote control at it (if you are setting up a streaming device, make sure a movie or TV program is playing).
      2 Press the device button you want to set up (for example TV).
      3 Press and hold the SETUP button until the LED on your remote button blinks twice.
      4 Press and hold the number button for your brand and device, as listed in the tables above (or example, 3 for a Phillips TV). Your remote will send the power signal every three seconds.

    Remote has a HUGE amount of latency very laggy remote however it does connect and function but wouldn’t buy this if I wasn’t desperate.

    Not going to lie it was difficult getting this started to my tv . The actual remote is slow and I hate it but it helps with my volumes and turning tv on and off

    You lied to me and said the remote I will be able to use for my tv after programming it. It not nice to lie to customers. I have also made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
