What could have been, wasn’t.

However the picture was clear, the interface was smooth and I would have kept it but I need the hdmi ports in working order. Surely it was a factory defect not present on all of the units

It has better resolution and better colors, and more input ports. It works great. There are two minor things; it does not respond to the remote as fast as Fire Cube or Fire Stick, which can sometimes be confusing. I tried to use it as a secondary monitor, it was hard to read the text on the screen.
